It has an impact on how kids see the world, deal with difficulties, and grow who they are.  Providing food and shelter is simply one aspect of parenting, and other aspects include responsibility, love, direction, discipline, and emotional support. Children are more likely to make wise choices when their parents are involved and provide structure. Lack of structure might make it difficult for kids to find their way. There are a few places where the storytelling may be improved, even though these chapters take part and highlight key themes like opportunity, responsibility, and the environment. Giving constructive criticism makes it easier to identify areas where a more thorough explanation or development could enhance the value of the comparison between the two boys. The lack of a father figure is an important part in the decisions and lives of both Wes Moores in Wes Moore's story The Other Wes Moore. The book shows how young people may find it more difficult to find purpose, self-control, and hope when an ongoing presence is absent. Reading My World          At school, my teachers gave me motivation by showing joy when I answered a question correctly. I have a younger sister, and I hope to inspire her to go through what I have gone through because I want her to follow her dreams. The support I received felt like solving math problems. My family let me sound words out step by step, almost like working through an equation. Even when I got struck, they gave me the patience to try again, just as you would when reworking a calculation.
