Reading My World          At school, my teachers gave me motivation by showing joy when I answered a question correctly. I have a younger sister, and I hope to inspire her to go through what I have gone through because I want her to follow her dreams. The support I received felt like solving math problems. My family let me sound words out step by step, almost like working through an equation. Even when I got struck, they gave me the patience to try again, just as you would when reworking a calculation. Each success was like adding another number to the sum, building my confidence piece by piece.
